    Title: Reminiscing the Past
I am enjoying uploading the ‘Out of Print – Singapore’ postcards and researching online for historic notes explaining the type of postcard and the source of the picture.

Looking at some of these postcards makes me relive some of my childhood. Like the demolished ‘National Threatre’ and ‘Van Kleef Aquarium’ postcards, I remembered having a photo taken in front of National Theatre when I was a little girl and admiring the marine fishes in awe during a visit there.

Yeah, Singapore is always undergoing rapid development, many old buildings have to be torn down to make way for new ones. Changes are inevitable!
I guess the real thrill of reminiscing comes when i sees a long-forgotten item and realizes: “Hey! I remember that!” These collectible picture postcards also provide a mean to reminisce my childhood since they captured a sense time & place of that period.
Relishing the Present, Reminisicing the Past!

    Title: Someone made my day
Yoohoo, someone made my day today,
A nice surprise first thing in the morning when i opened my email with a cup of hot coffee in hand.
Yes, I have my first bulk purchase customer who bought 200 pieces of postcards.
She is a fellow Postcrosser from Singapore, one of the top Singapore Postcrossers in term of number of postcards sent and received.
This bulk order gives me a boost in encouragement and confidence in my new eStore.
Thank you Thank you to that someone ;)

    Smile Always,
Geraldine (owner of The Postcard House)
