Title: Singapore Botanical Gardens, 1970s.
Interesting Note: The resting hut (also known as Bandstand) in the picture was erected in the 1860s. Regimental(military) bands played here then for many years. Though no longer used for music, the Bandstand continues to be one of the best-known features of the Gardens. Surrounded by a rim of handsome Yellow Rain Tress, the Bandstand is still more or less in its original 1860s form.
